Are you a graphic designer, illustrator, or visual artist passionate about trans liberation? Join our Creative Committee to help shape the visual voice of our movement. From designing event flyers and social media graphics to creating art is your favorite mediums that inspires action, your skills can make a powerful impact. Open to TGNC artists and allies across Illinois. Let’s build bold, beautiful resistance—together.

Outreach
Are you passionate about organizing, community building, and showing up for trans liberation? Join our Events & Outreach Committee to help plan rallies, town halls, teach-ins, and community gatherings across Illinois. From coordinating logistics to welcoming attendees and spreading the word, this team is at the heart of our public presence. We’re looking for TGNC folks and allies who believe in people power and want to help mobilize it.

Policy & Research
Are you passionate about advocacy, public education, and making systemic change for trans communities? Join our Policy & Outreach Committee to help shape and share our political vision. This team works on legislative tracking, policy research, and grassroots advocacy while also building relationships with community members, organizations, and elected officials. Whether it’s crafting action alerts, supporting town halls, or helping mobilize around key issues, your voice can help move policy and people.
Meets 2nd Tuesday of each month
at 6:30pm via zoom
Grants
Join the Trans Up Front Grant Committee and play a direct role in sustaining and expanding life-saving, community-led work for trans and gender-nonconforming people. Committee members help identify funding opportunities, shape proposals, and ensure resources reach those most impacted—especially at the intersections of trans identity, disability, and economic injustice. If you care about equity, accountability, and supporting a trans-led organization doing real work on the ground, this is a meaningful way to make an impact.
