Our Primary Goals

Advocacy

We work directly with trans and gender non conforming youth, teens and young adults and their families to advocate for their right to an affirming and uplifting environments in schools, healthcare, and workplaces at no cost to the family.

Education

We offer virtual and in-person trainings, town halls, and other educational opportunities for the TGNC community, allies, schools, workplaces, and organizations. We collaborate with media to amplify trans voices, counter misinformation, and celebrate trans joy.

Action

Trans Up Front shows up. We unite our community in both hardship and celebration from school boards, to the streets, and beyond. We host rallies, protests, marches, and community events that are non-violent, family-friendly, and accessible.

Access

We believe in meeting each person where they are. We want you to know that you can come as you are and there is space for you. No matter your access needs we are here to listen and ensure you have the accommodations needed.

Trans Up Front was founded with a powerful commitment to educate, advocate, and support the transgender and gender nonconforming community, with a particular emphasis on centering their voices and providing support to youth, teens and young adults and their support systems. With a mission to promote understanding, safety, and equality, we aim to break down barriers and challenge societal norms that have historically marginalized trans and gender-nonconforming people. Our focus is not just on awareness, but on creating tangible, lasting change across all areas of society.
